I am one of the steadily increasing numbers of Staten Islanders who, without a formal organization, nonetheless essentially boycott New York's most self-censored (and self-centered) and politically corrupt newspaper, the Staten Island Advance (aka "The Staten Island Retreat"). Yesterday I found an understandably discarded copy of what is unquestionably the most Mob-friendly paper and anti-human rights paper in the entire state of New York and perhaps the rest of America.
Rachel Shapiro, either the worst or the second worst (after Tom Wrobleski) political "journalist" in New York State (and, again, perhaps America) reported that, while Donald Trump won a landslide victory over Ted Cruz and John Kasich in the Republican primary in New York, Hillary Clinton "only narrowly defeated" Bernie Sanders in by a "squeaker." She got the math correct but the fundamentally corrupted and profoundly clueless Shapiro totally blew the political meaning.
In New York State as a whole Hillary won 58% and Bernie won 42%. In Staten Island - where UP FRONT News (online at www.tomsupfrontnews.blogspot.com) is very widely read, perhaps particularly by progressive African-Americans and Jews who want nothing to do with multi-billionaire Donald Newhouse's establishment mouthpiece camouflaged as a legitimate newspaper - Hillary "won" by 51% to 49%.
